“It’s time you stopped paying for Donald Trump’s Corruption”
Manchester, N.H. – Stefany Shaheen, vowing to “raise hell with Trump and the insurance companies” ripping off Granite Staters, says in a new ad, “it’s time the people of New Hampshire stopped paying for Donald Trump’s corruption.” Shaheen, running for Congress in New Hampshire’s First Congressional District, calls out Donald Trump’s unprecedented corruption, including trading health insurance stocks, and cutting health care for Granite Staters while paying for bombs, a new ballroom, and tax breaks for billionaires.
The ad, entitled ‘Pockets,’ will run district-wide in New Hampshire starting Monday August 3rd.
“Stefany will take on Trump to stop his unprecedented corruption and the insurance companies from gouging families for the health care they need,” said campaign manager Emma Greenberg. “Donald Trump is lining his pockets to the tune of $2 billion while he’s picking the pockets of New Hampshire families, robbing them of health care by pushing costs out of reach.”
Health care costs are skyrocketing because of Trump’s reckless agenda, with some Granite Staters paying double or triple. Nearly 12,000 Granite Staters have been priced out of their health care, most of them in the First Congressional District. 77,000 seniors in New Hampshire were forced off Medicare Advantage plans, dropping many into a coverage gap for vision, dental, and hearing care. Now Trump is ending Medicare Part D subsidies, increasing out of pocket prescription drug costs for seniors.
