Citing her record of supporting small businesses and standing up for New Hampshire’s communities, Rochester Mayor Chuck Grassie and Somersworth Mayor Matt Gerding endorsed Stefany Shaheen in New Hampshire’s first congressional district primary.
On Earth Day, New Hampshire Congressional candidate Stefany Shaheen and a coalition of New Hampshire families, medical professionals, scientists, and state lawmakers gathered for a roundtable discussion to highlight the urgent need to ensure clean drinking water and fight the Trump Administration’s delay of PFAS cleanup. Shortly after taking office, Donald Trump’s administration delayed PFAS cleanup by roughly five years at nearly 140 military sites.
More than 2,600 Granite Staters have contributed to Stefany Shaheen’s campaign for Congress, which helped her raise over $500,000 in the first 90 days of 2026. Just this quarter, the campaign received more than 9,000 contributions and 95% of those contributions were $100 or less. Stefany is not taking corporate PAC money. She will report having over $1,100,000 on hand.
Highlighting her efforts to make a difference for people in Portsmouth, a group of Portsmouth Mayors and Assistant Mayors are endorsing Stefany Shaheen in New Hampshire’s first congressional district Democratic primary. Portsmouth Mayor Deaglan McEachern, Assistant Mayor Jo Kelley, former Mayors Jack Blalock, Tom Ferrini, and Bob Lister as well as former Assistant Mayor Jim Splaine, joined Stefany Shaheen at Cup of Joe Cafe & Bar in downtown Portsmouth, on Thursday in support of her campaign.
Connected by their shared commitment to making a difference for New Hampshire families, a coalition of Dover Mayors is endorsing Stefany Shaheen in New Hampshire’s first congressional district primary. Mayor Elect Dennis Shanahan, current Mayor Bob Carrier and former Mayors Jack Buckley, Karen Weston, Wil Boc and Alex Nossiff, all joined Stefany Shaheen at a local small business in Dover, on Tuesday afternoon in support of her campaign.
As 2025 comes to a close, the Democratic front-runner in New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District race is continuing to consolidate support.
Stefany Shaheen is showcasing hyperlocal endorsements, with five Dover mayors, whose leadership dates back to the 1970s, and the city’s mayor-elect backing her campaign.

Citing her commitment to fight for working families, especially to cut skyrocketing costs, Teamsters Local 633 endorsed Stefany Shaheen as their candidate for Congress in New Hampshire’s First Congressional District.
Stefany Shaheen holds a solid polling lead in the field of 1st Congressional District Democrats, and she is now bolstering her position with the first major union endorsement in the 2026 race.
Teamsters Local 633, with nearly 5,000 members in New Hampshire, is backing Shaheen as their candidate for Congress in NH-01.

Today, Republicans in the U.S. Senate killed a three year extension of the ACA credits. House Republicans haven’t even held a vote.
