Manchester, N.H. – Highlighting her commitment to improving health care and support for veterans and their families as well as her opponents support for drastic cuts to those services, more than 100 New Hampshire Veterans are announcing their endorsement of Stefany Shaheen.
In Congress, Stefany will fight to get veterans quality health care close to home, Anthony DiLorenzo has said he backs the Trump Administration’s cuts to veterans health care directed by Elon Musk and DOGE.
“Led by Elon Musk, Republicans in Congress systematically defunded veterans’ health care and forced thousands of layoffs at the VA, all to pay for tax breaks for billionaires,” said Stefany Shaheen. “It’s a disgrace that many of the VA employees losing their livelihoods are veterans themselves. We need to repair the damage that was done—and ensure that the men and women who serve our country in uniform can live safe, healthy and prosperous lives. I am honored to have earned support from more than 100 veterans from across New Hampshire, and in Congress, I will always stand up for those who served.”
“With tenacity and fight for change, Stefany is the fighter we need to represent us,” said PJ Whitney, veteran of the United States Air Force, Air National Guard, and first female navigator in the New Hampshire National Guard. “Her life of service to Granite Staters and this district proves exactly the type of Congresswoman she will be in Washington.”
“Stefany has earned the respect of veterans by her years of selfless dedication to serving others,” said Don Guter, retired Two-Star Navy Admiral. “This trait is one we all identify and admire, and I’m proud to be on her team for the election on November 3rd.”
“I’m with Stefany Shaheen on November 3rd because the picture is self-evident,” said Stephen Woodcock, veteran of the United States Army. “I don’t generally endorse other candidates for elected office, but this year’s election is too important to sit on the bench. Stefany has my endorsement, and veterans’ health care depends on her representation in Washington.”
“In the Army, you learn that leadership means showing up and doing the work, whether or not anyone’s watching,” said Ed McCabe, veteran of the United States Army. “Stefany Shaheen has done exactly that for New Hampshire. She’ll fight to protect veterans’ health care and the promises this country made to us.”
“I served in the Iraq War and saw firsthand the devastating consequences when out-of-touch leaders send American troops into harm’s way without a clear plan,” said Maura Sullivan, former Assistant Secretary of Veterans Affairs and U.S. Marine Corps officer. “Those decisions have lasting consequences for our service members, veterans, and their families. No one who wore the uniform should struggle to access the care, housing, or economic opportunities they earned. Trump’s agenda threatens our democracy, our shared values, and the commitments we’ve made to those who served. We need to elect Democrats up and down the ticket who will oppose Trump’s un-American agenda. I urge Granite Staters across the 1st district to cast their ballot for Stefany Shaheen on November 3rd.”
