Manchester, NH – There was a clear choice for voters between Stefany Shaheen’s resolve to fight for New Hampshire and Anthony DiLorenzo’s eagerness to do whatever Donald Trump wants, on the stage tonight at New England College’s First Congressional District Debate.
DiLorenzo repeated that he supports privatizing Social Security and risking it in the stock market. He failed to defend his past support for $200 billion to fund Donald Trump’s war with Iran. And he offered no solutions for lowering costs, instead admitting that “nobody is happy with the current state of affairs” in Trump’s economy.
“Anthony DiLorenzo said he would vote for Trump ‘a thousand times in a row.’ He supports Trump’s war and tariffs driving up costs for all Granite Staters, and massive tax breaks for billionaires paid for by health care cuts devastating Granite Staters. That’s a record he can’t run from,” said Emma Greenberg, Campaign Manager for Stefany Shaheen. “Stefany Shaheen is running to deliver change and hold Trump accountable for his corruption because she knows Granite State families cannot afford more of the same.”
