Manchester, N.H. – Highlighting her commitment to New Hampshire and extensive background working in New Hampshire both as an entrepreneur in the private sector and as an advocate and elected leader in local public office, 30+ New Hampshire Republicans and former Republicans are announcing their endorsement of Stefany Shaheen in New Hampshire’s first congressional district. These voters have chosen to put country over party in the race for New Hampshire’s first congressional seat.
“New Hampshire families and small businesses are getting crushed by rising costs. This is a time that demands all of us coming together across partisan lines and building a broad and growing coalition to deliver meaningful change,” said Stefany Shaheen, Democratic Candidate for New Hampshire’s first congressional district. “I am honored to receive support from Republicans and former Republicans across New Hampshire. Together, we are committed to moving our state and country forward.”
“In this election, it is important to vote for the most qualified candidate,” said Peter Weeks, Former Mayor of Portsmouth. “In the first Congressional District of New Hampshire, Stefany Shaheen is my choice.”
“As a law enforcement veteran, I am proud to support Stefany Shaheen for Congress,” said Rene Kelley, recently retired police chief of Durham. “Stefany likes to say that in local office, you don’t serve as a Republican or a Democrat; you serve your community. As chair of the Portsmouth Police Commission, she lived that. She’ll bring the same service-first leadership to Washington.”

The 2022 Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire, General Don Bolduc also announced his endorsement for Stefany Shaheen in a video testimonial.
