Stefany Shaheen has now been endorsed by every Democratic Mayor in New Hampshire’s First Congressional District
Rochester, N.H. – Citing her record of supporting small businesses and standing up for New Hampshire’s communities, Rochester Mayor Chuck Grassie and Somersworth Mayor Matt Gerding endorsed Stefany Shaheen in New Hampshire’s first congressional district primary. Stefany visited local businesses in downtown Rochester with Mayor Grassie, where they spoke to small business owners about the challenges they’re facing as a result of the Trump Administration. She also stopped by a diner and small businesses in Somersworth, where Mayor Gerding, former Somersworth Mayor George Bald, and City Councilor Bonnie McNair spoke about why they believe she is the strongest person to fight for New Hampshire’s first district in Congress.
With the endorsements of Mayors Grassie and Gerding, Stefany Shaheen now has the support of every Democratic Mayor in New Hampshire’s first congressional district, including Portsmouth Mayor Deaglan McEachern, and Dover Mayor Dennis Shanahan, as well as Portsmouth Assistant Mayor Joanna Kelley and numerous former Mayors and Assistant Mayors.
