65+ New Hampshire Health Care Leaders Announce Support for Stefany Shaheen

Manchester, N.H. – Highlighting her commitment to improving health care for families, more than 65 health care leaders are announcing their endorsement of Stefany Shaheen in New Hampshire’s first congressional district Democratic primary. These are the people helping families across the first district stay healthy and safe – doctors, dentists, therapists, clinicians, and Granite Staters with experience working across many different health disciplines.

“After my daughter Elle’s life-changing type one diabetes diagnosis 18 years ago, I found myself thrown into a world I knew nothing about. It was the health care workers who gave us hope and helped us learn how to navigate the scary new reality Elle was facing every day. Most importantly, they have taken care of our daughter as she has grown from a young child to a young adult,” said Stefany Shaheen. “Today, AI, insurance companies, Wall Street investors, and Republican politicians are all trying to get between people and their health care providers. They want to put profits first, not patients. That’s unacceptable. I entered this race because when RFK Jr. was announced as Secretary of Health and Human Services, I knew I couldn’t sit back and watch him undermine our trust in public health, slash medical research, and raise costs. I’m so honored to have the trust of so many health care leaders. Together we’re standing up to RFK Jr. and the Trump Administration.”

“Stefany has a long history of fighting for medical research and innovation and standing with the health care community,” said Dr. Tom Sherman, Physician and Chief Medical Officer at Vytatek. “It’s an easy choice to stand behind Stefany because she’s already proven that she will stand up for the health and safety of New Hampshire families.”

“Stefany knows what it will take to stand up to RFK and the Trump Administration, and she’s fearlessly taking on those fights,” said Joyce Cappiello, Nurse Practitioner. “She understands the investments we need to make in the health care workforce and the changes that we need to make. There’s no one I would rather have advocating for health care workers in New Hampshire.”

“At a time when trusted science and medical innovation are being threatened, New Hampshire needs someone who’s ready to fight for the health of our families – that’s Stefany,” said Ned Helms, Founding Director of the NH Institute for Health Policy and Practice. “When her daughter was diagnosed with diabetes, she started a small business to help other people like Elle with innovative technology. That’s the kind of get-it-done fighter we need representing New Hampshire.”

“Stefany has the tenacity we need to make a difference on health care in Congress  – she’s spent years navigating the system and fighting for Elle and the millions of people living with chronic conditions,” said Katie Morgan, Physician Associate. “She’s already proved her mettle and we need to get her elected in November so that she can fight for New Hampshire, just like she’s fought for her own kids.”

“Keeping our kids healthy is more complicated than ever, with President Trump and RFK Jr. sowing mistrust and encouraging parents to trust fake science,” said Suzanne Boulter, Pediatrician. “Stefany is standing up for our kids and taking the fight straight to RFK Jr., doing whatever it takes to protect our communities. With Stefany in the House, I know that New Hampshire’s children will always have an advocate.”

Over 15 years of advocacy, Stefany helped advance treatments and medical research for people living with chronic conditions. Stefany co-founded Good Measures; a small business that connects people who have chronic conditions with the real-time clinical and decision-making support they need. Dedicated to finding cures as well as improving treatments for the most costly diseases, Stefany has helped raise millions of dollars to advance medical research.
