Portsmouth, N.H. – Powered by more than 3,000 Granite Staters, Stefany Shaheen’s campaign for Congress in New Hampshire’s First District raised more than $400,000 this quarter. Shaheen has more than $1,200,000 on hand heading into the final months of the campaign and has raised more than $2,200,000 in total.
Three times more Granite Staters have contributed to Shaheen than anyone else in this race. Despite being heavily outspent for months, Shaheen continues to lead in every public poll of this race. She’s earned unmatched grassroots support from the people who live and work in New Hampshire. Earlier this week, she was endorsed by the League of Conservation Voters.
“Stefany Shaheen is exactly the fighter Granite Staters are looking for and the strength of her support across the district shows it,” said campaign manager Emma Greenberg. “Stefany is working to earn every vote and build the coalition we need to flip the House, stop Trump, and put an end to his dangerous corruption.”
Shaheen’s campaign launched its first television ad last week. In it, Stefany Shaheen takes on Donald Trump for cutting health care for New Hampshire families to pay for his ballroom, bombs, and tax breaks for billionaires. For eighteen years, Stefany has been fighting the insurance companies denying life-saving care to her daughter, who has type 1 diabetes.
Over the past year, Stefany has traveled up and down the district, speaking to voters in living rooms and coffee shops, earning their support. Last month, 65+ health care leaders announced their support for Stefany. All four Democratic mayors in the district as well as former Governor John Lynch are backing her and she has the support of the New Hampshire Teamsters, IBEW Local 490 and the League of Conservation Voters.
